Easter is right around the corner and the Target shelves have been filled with chocolates, bunny ears and all types of Easter baskets. I remember getting an Easter basket filled with goodies every year as a child and I wanted to continue the tradition with my son.
Traditions are great but let’s face it, we probably still have that same Easter basket from last year sitting in a corner not being used. I wanted to do something different this year and I got some inspiration from watching The Real the other day. Who said your Easter goodies need to be in a basket? On the show, they used a small grill, trucks, and rain boots to show different ways you can pack your Easter goodies.
Myan has really been into cars and trucks lately so I decided to get a dump truck and add some of his favorite things. I found the truck at HomeGoods and it was the perfect size to fit all of the things I had in mind for him.
Myan’s Easter Goodies
Kind Kids Chewy Honey Oat Bar
Larabar Kid Cinnamon Swirl Bar
Bubbles
Lush Bath Bombs
Paw Patrol Easter book
You can add anything that your child or loved one likes and make it your own. If you have a beach trip coming up get a sand bucket and add all the fun things you may need on the trip. Sunscreen, shovels, goggles, and a new swimsuit are just a few things that come to my mind.
I found dot markers for Myan a few weeks ago at T.J.Maxx and they had pastel colors that would make a perfect addition for a little artist. The sky is the limit on how creative you want to get this year. Tag me on Instagram @innatemotherhood and use #easterbasketremix so I can see your beautiful creations!
